Hi stumbled across this pub 09/11/25 All I can say is fantastic 🥰we had a meal here and it was all cooked from fresh. No microwave meals here. They made the best chips I’ve ever had in any pub. Just like your mum used to make. Service exceptional and land lady was lovely. This is most definitely a place to eat . You won’t be disappointed.

Lovely experience today ..great staff.. wonderful food.ambience perfect..so nice to have this lovely pub so buoyant again! Special thanks to Katie the chef and Lisa the manager.. packed..with happy people today great to see! Back again today 9/11/2025 lovely turkey roast full of flavour beautiful gravy , stuffing Yorkshire pud..the whole table of us enjoyed everything...thanks Lisa.. manager..and Lisa chef great food and our waitress too excellent.

Just had two takeaway meals with a draft Guinness also takeaway,I had lasagne with salad and garlic bread the wife had chicken,leek and mushroom pie with gravy and oh boy it was good thank you Alistair a lovely well ran local independent business.
